Shearer Opens Red Kite Development.
On the 12th November 2007 Alan Shearer unveiled a commemorative plaque at Red House Farm Junior Football Club's new club house in Gosforth. The prestige project was delivered by Red Kite Construction & Development Ltd.
The former Newcastle United and England striker met with local youngsters, club officials and Red Kite's owner Steve Hair when he marked the occasion by revealing the plaque and burying a time capsule in the building. Click on an image to begin the slide show.
